Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the Arkansas Department of Education Manager's Training for Child Nutrition.
• Successful experience in quality food service operation preferred.
• Skills in problem-solving, human interaction, and conflict management.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Follows all state and federal regulations.
• Performs duties as assigned by the manager, including operating commercial food service equipment and handling temperatures and sanitation.
• Prepares and serves food in accordance with health and sanitation standards.
• Cleans and handles chemicals as assigned by the manager.
• Assists with food service operations during emergencies.
• Assumes responsibilities of serving lines and directs work when needed.
• Maintains professional relations with staff and the public.
