Job summary

Madison County Schools is seeking a Cook/Baker at Kingston Elementary School in Richmond, KY. This 4 hours-per-day, 180 days-per-year contract includes health benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Kentucky requirements as applicable.
• One year of cooking and baking experience in large quantities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake rolls, breads, cakes and other baked goods.
• Cook meat dishes, vegetables, salads, sandwiches and soups.
• Monitor temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Serve and replenish lunch items for students and staff.
• Train and provide work direction to other staff.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
• Record food quantities sold and monies collected; assist with inventory.
