Job summary

Hardin County School District’s North Middle School in Radcliff, KY seeks a full-time Cook/Baker for 180 days/year with 4.5 hours per day. Duties include preparing and cooking a variety of meals for students and staff, baking items, and maintaining sanitary kitchen conditions.

Candidate will train and supervise others, monitor temps, manage serving and inventory, and assist with special events. Must meet Kentucky education requirements and have relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or progress toward GED per Kentucky law.
• At least 1 year cooking/baking experience in large quantity settings.
• Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and portion control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods at a school site.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the kitchen.
