Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers safely to and from the LifeWise site. A mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs is essential, along with a clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Applicants must hold a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P); a School bus endorsement is preferred. Age range 21–80; those over 75 must renew license details annually.

Qualifications

• CDL with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) is required.
• School bus endorsement (S) is preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules and assist boarding/alighting.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed.
