Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and a calm, caring demeanor, with annual background checks and drug testing as required.

Applicants must hold a CDL with passenger endorsement, be 21–80 years old, maintain a clean driving record, and participate in LifeWise Academy training and church involvement as described in our faith statement.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with the LifeWise faith statement.
• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement required; School bus endorsement preferred.
• Ages 21–80; annual CDL license and endorsement verification for those over 75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in past 5 years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom volunteering if agreed.
