Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a reliable CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a clean driving record, background checks, and drug testing compliance, with a part-time schedule.

The driver must hold a CDL with a passenger vehicle endorsement (P) and preferably a School bus (S) endorsement. A mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs is expected. Training and safety duties are emphasized.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• 21–80 years old; annual CDL renewal with P endorsement for >75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in 5 years.
• Background check through LifeWise Academy.
• Annual drug/alcohol testing; pre-employment, random tests, post-accidents.
• Yearly Physician's Statement for known medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws; maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections; refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment; enforce rules; assist boarding.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training; volunteer in LifeWise classroom as agreed.
