LifeWise Academy in Indiana seeks a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students safely to and from LifeWise locations. You will uphold strict safety standards, maintain the bus, and ensure a secure environment for children.

Requires CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement and preferred School bus (S) endorsement, clean driving record, background check, and drug testing. Must be 21–80 and active in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Age 21-80 years.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in last five years.
• Pass background check and drug testing as required.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Enforce safety rules for students.
• Assist students entering or exiting the vehicle.
• Complete required training and participate in LifeWise classroom activities if agreed.
