Job summary

The position requires a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P), with a preferred School bus (S) endorsement. Candidates must pass background and FMCSA checks and submit necessary medical statements as required by LifeWise Academy.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or major violations in past 5 years.
• CDL license required; P endorsement required; S endorsement preferred.
• Age 21–80; drivers over 75 must annually submit CDL copy and P endorsement.
• Background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy; volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved.
