Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site in Butler, Indiana. The role requires a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P), a clean driving record, and compliance with background and drug testing policies.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate mature faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs and participate in church life as described in the What We Believe section.

Qualifications

• CDL driver's license with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required.
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• Age 21-80; annual CDL license and P endorsement documentation for drivers over 75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last 5 years.
• Pass background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for students and enforce safety rules.
