Job summary

Rockdale County Public Schools seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the district's MTSS/PBIS and CCEIS initiatives, providing expert behavioral services across designated schools. The BCBA will lead FBAs, develop BIPs, coach staff, analyze data, and collaborate with school teams to improve student outcomes and reduce behavioral barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a closely related field.
• BCBA certification by BACB; must possess or be eligible for Georgia certification/licensure.
• Minimum three years of successful experience providing behavior analytic services in educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, MTSS Framework, PBIS, and CCEIS requirements; data-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral consultation and services to school personnel regarding students with behavioral challenges.
• Conduct FBAs, develop and monitor BIPs, and provide direct/indirect behavior analytic services.
• Analyze data to identify trends, monitor progress, and inform interventions.
• Coach teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and support staff on evidence-based strategies.
• Collaborate with MTSS, PBIS, SST, IEP teams, and Exceptional Children Services staff.
• Provide professional learning and maintain required documentation; support district initiatives.
