Job summary

Henry County Public Schools Center for Community Learning in Collinsville, Virginia seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with diverse learning needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels. The BCBA collaborates with teachers and administrators to implement proactive behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities include coaching teachers, analyzing behavioral data, and coordinating with school staff and private providers to ensure coordinated services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher leadership experience and prior classroom teaching experience, preferably in Special Education.
• BCBA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision, support, and demonstration of skills in classroom management to support the educational program.
• Communicates openly with students, parents, community patrons, staff, and administration as a positive representative.
• Directs the preparation and maintenance of educational reports.
• Evaluates and monitors students’ behavioral functions and progress, and helps develop goals and objectives.
• Coordinates and participates in department meetings to ensure high quality services.
• Attends and plans training, seminars, classes, and study groups to support programs.
