Job summary

Fall Mountain Regional School District seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a district-wide consultant, developing and implementing behavioral services for students across the district. The role focuses on functional assessments, ABA-based plans, data-driven progress, and collaboration with educators and specialists.

The position reports to the Special Education Director, with annual evaluation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in learning and behavioral analysis or related mental health field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification preferred.
• Interns eligible for consideration, with supervision offered, as long as intern trainee can meet BCBA supervision requirements.
• Safety Care certification or willingness or ability to obtain.
• Experience with children on the Autism Spectrum preferred.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as part of a team.
• Must have valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, presenting findings and recommendations as needed.
• Develop and monitor behavior support plans using ABA based curriculum.
• Create data sheets, lead and assist in data collection and analyze data in order to enhance student performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related service staff, administrators and outside agencies in order to provide consistency in programming.
• Provide support to general and special education students as necessary.
• Participate in special education meetings and develop IEP goals and objectives; complete progress monitoring.
• Provide professional development on the implementation of behavioral interventions and provide training to students, staff, and parents.
• Respond to behavioral crisis as needed.
• Complete progress and billing reports for Medicaid billable services.
• Perform other duties as requested by the director of special education.
