Job summary

Brightli is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in school settings, supporting success at school, home, and community. The role involves direct interventions, treatment plan alignment, and coordination with internal and external providers.

You will work primarily on school premises during school hours, with some home/community outreach as needed, focusing on recovery, resilience, and academic achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with two years of related behavioral health experience.
• Associate’s degree in behavioral health support; OR
• Four years of full‑time qualifying experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based behavioral health interventions aligned with treatment goals.
• Support development of coping strategies and social‑emotional functioning.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and providers.
• Manage caseload with timely documentation and person-centered services.
• Provide crisis intervention and follow‑up, including outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits and community outreach to engage youth and families.
• Assist with quality assurance, data collection, and compliance.
• Participate in staff development, supervision, and evaluations.
• Adapt to evolving student needs and support program goals.
