Job summary

Brightli is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in school settings. You will support academic and family goals, coordinate with schools and providers, and respond to crises to promote recovery and resilience.

You will manage a caseload, document thoroughly in the EHR, and participate in ongoing staff development to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of case management, rehabilitation methods, and treatment planning in mental health and/or substance use.
• Familiarity with ethical, legal, and procedural standards in behavioral health.
• Ability to build relationships with youth, families, schools, and providers.
• Experience with documenting in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health interventions aligned with individualized treatment goals in school settings.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and service providers.
• Manage caseload, ensure timely documentation and person-centered services.
• Provide crisis intervention and follow-up, including outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits and community outreach as needed.
• Participate in staff development and supervision.
