Job summary

Excelsior Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist for our School-Based Wraparound with Intensive Services (SB-WISe) program. You will work with youth and families in PK-12 settings, drawing on personal recovery experience to guide engagement and recovery efforts.

Responsibilities include ongoing outreach, collaboration with the treatment team, and rotating 24/7 crisis coverage, in a community-focused Spokane environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience working and/or volunteering directly with youth.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must obtain WA license within 30 days if out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the treatment team providing outreach, engagement and support of ongoing services to enrolled youth and families.
• Uses personal recovery experience to guide and support youth and families in their own recovery.
• Participates in on-call rotation to ensure crisis services are available 24/7, including phone and in-person support.
