Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane Valley, WA seeks a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-oriented peer services in community and clinical settings. The role requires peers who have lived recovery experience and either current or trainee WA credentials, with flexible scheduling and travel between sites.

Pay is based on credential status, with a starting hourly range that reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Self-identify as an individual who during their childhood and/or experienced emotional and behavioral challenges and have been in recovery for one or more years.
• Certified Peer Support Specialist or Certified Peer Support Specialist Trainee Credential from the WA State Department of Health OR: If an Applicant does not have an active or pending Credential, then must apply within 90 days of start date.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license, active car insurance and must be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work.

Responsibilities

• As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, provide peer support and assist in treatment planning.
• Engage with clients and families to empower recovery and active participation in care.
• Support discharge planning and linkages to community resources.
• Maintain client records and documentation in a timely, confidential manner.
• Travel between locations and work in community settings as needed.
