Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a School-Based Therapist to deliver therapeutic services within the school system, with potential telehealth and office-based settings. The role includes diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and counseling for adults, adolescents, and families.

Supervised by Clinical Supervisor/Manager, the therapist will support students and families through wraparound strategies, collaborating with school staff to ensure continuous care and culturally responsive services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or Bachelor’s with 2 years’ experience in social work or counseling.
• LSW or LCDC III, LPC, MFT license or related licensure encouraged.
• Must maintain licenses and complete pre-employment screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy.
• Develop and document Treatment Plans after first encounter and review progress.
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and community partners as needed.
• Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Document all client interactions and maintain secure records.
