Job summary

OhioGuidestone's School/ECMH Therapist provides school-based behavioral health therapy, delivering diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and counseling for a diverse caseload embedded in partnered schools. The role touches children from birth to age 6 and their caregivers, aiming to address holistic needs.

We provide ample supervision (both individual and group), comprehensive training, and shadowing opportunities to build your professional skills while promoting a healthy work/life

Qualifications

• LSW or LCDC III, LPC, MFT license and related educational requirement.
• Master’s Degree from a relevant accredited program; or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience in social work or counseling.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral science or nursing.
• Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseload.
• Complete documented evidence-based Treatment Plan after first encounter and progress reviews.
• Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with client, family, and caregivers.
• Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Identify interventions for clients in crisis and engage community resources.
• Provide CPST, SUD Targeted Case Management and TBS as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and resources for clients as needed.
• Attend treatment conferences and maintain timely documentation.
