Job summary

OhioGuidestone seeks a School-Based Specialist to provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and support across adults, adolescents, and families. Services may be delivered via telehealth, outpatient offices, or community settings, with strong supervision and ongoing professional development.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, crisis response, and collaboration with OhioGuidestone professionals and community partners to support client goals and well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (e.g. psychology).
• Three years relevant experience with competencies in behavioral health.
• LSW or LPC licensure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to a diverse caseload.
• Develop and document Treatment Plans after first client encounter and review progress.
• Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, families and caregivers.
