Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Central Ohio seeks a full-time Therapist to deliver individual, group, and family counseling within school and community settings. The role focuses on advocacy and supports to help youth live safely and successfully in the community.

The position requires a Master’s in Social Work or similar field, an active license, and at least two years’ direct practice with youth and families. Benefits include generous time off and healthcare coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Valid professional license as required by state regulations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible/non-traditional hours.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Proficient use of computers and common software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services and case management.
• Coordinates and monitors youth and family services in the community.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintains productivity thresholds.
• Supports foster families and youth in line with the case plan.
• Participates in supervision and quality improvement processes.
