Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a full-time Therapist to join our School-Based Therapy Team in Findlay, Ohio. You will provide counseling and advocacy to youth and families, partnering with caregivers and community partners to promote safe, healthy living.

This role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and a willingness to work flexible hours. The position involves travel to community settings, daily collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor, and adherence to

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
• Experience with TF-CBT preferred.
• A valid professional license as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports, represents, and extends the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services to meet outcomes.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with requirements.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Completes all required training in a timely manner.
• Consistently achieves established productivity thresholds.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and families in the community across mental health, medical, educational, and social domains.
• Reviews and modifies youth-based plans to ensure progress on goals.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts with the youth's primary family or other living arrangements.
• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization as required.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities monthly/quarterly.
• Participates in weekly supervision process.
• Performs other duties as requested.
