Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking School Based Therapists to partner with local public schools. You will provide in-school counseling, manage a caseload, and support students’ academic success through targeted prevention and intervention services.

The role involves collaborative treatment planning, on-site assessment, and coordination with families and community resources, with licensure supervision offered for PLPC/LMSW tracks and opportunities for LPC/LCSW licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed or provisionally licensed therapist (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW) with willingness to pursue licensure supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized counseling at school sites during operating hours.
• Maintain and manage a caseload per supervisory guidelines.
• Support academic success through prevention, intervention, and collaboration with school staff.
• Participate in treatment planning and staffings to set goals and objectives with Burrell guidelines.
• Respond rapidly to emotional crises and provide on-site emergency support.
• Coordinate follow-up services to ensure continuity of care for students.
• Collaborate with school counselors to connect families with community resources.
• Conduct clinical assessments and interventions for students and families.
• Liaise to ensure services reach all family members and coordinate care.
