Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a School Based Therapist 2 in Springfield, MO to deliver evidence-based behavioral health services at the school site. You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy to students with mental health or substance use concerns.

You will collaborate with school personnel and families, respond to crises, and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards while promoting positive outcomes for students and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field and active licensure or eligibility.
• Experience delivering mental health services to children/adolescents is preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies and school-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to students at the school site.
• Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning aligned with goals.
• Coordinate with school staff, families, and treatment team for care planning.
• Offer crisis intervention and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Support transitions and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
