Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Missouri is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide individual counseling in local school districts. You will conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to address behavioral and emotional needs.

You'll collaborate with teachers, families, and community partners to support student success, manage a caseload, respond to crises, and ensure coordinated care across school and community resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field and licensure-eligible up to supervision.
• Must hold or be working toward Missouri licenses: PLPC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW, PLMFT, LMFT.
• Experience with children, adolescents or school-based populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling services to students within the school setting.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Manage and maintain an active caseload per agency expectations.
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and community partners to support student success.
• Respond to student behavioral health crises and coordinate referrals.
