Job summary

Career Links is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services within a school district setting. The role supports students’ academic and communication success as part of a collaborative educational team.

The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations. A strong background in AAC and IEPs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Active state SLP license or eligibility.
• School-based practice certification/authorization or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations per IDEA and district policies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services and collaborate with educators and families.
• Prepare progress reports and participate in IEP/ARD meetings.
• Utilize AAC systems when appropriate and monitor student progress.
