Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based assignment. The role supports students with communication needs within a collaborative special education team, ensuring access to education and compliance with IDEA and district timelines.

You will provide evaluations, therapy, IEP development, and ARD participation, while coordinating with educators and families. Competitive pay, sign-on and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure or eligibility as SLP.
• State Teaching Credential or ability to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
• Follow district guidelines for informed consent and data-based evaluation decisions.
• Complete evaluations, reports, and data entry within timelines.
• Establish eligibility and discuss programming with ARD members.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services for speech impairments.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success.
• Participate in ARD/IEP and MDT meetings and professional development.
