Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our network of education professionals for a full-time, school-based assignment. You'll provide therapy services and support to students with a variety of communication challenges, contributing to their academic and social success.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative special education team, with access to resources, mentorship (CFs), and manageable caseloads, in a nationwide placement network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active state licensure or eligibility.
• State Teaching Credential or ability to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions to support diverse student populations.
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff, if applicable, to generalize communication strategies.
