Job summary

Career Links is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver comprehensive speech and language services within a school district setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders while collaborating with teachers and families to support student achievement.

The role involves developing IEP goals, using AAC when appropriate, and ensuring compliance with IDEA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field.
• Active state license or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
• State school-based certification or eligibility to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in accordance with IDEA and school policies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students with communication disorders.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Prepare progress reports and participate in IEP/ARD meetings.
