Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our network for a full-time school-based assignment. You will support students with speech and language needs within a collaborative special education team, ensuring educational access and compliance with IDEA and ARD timelines.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy, develop IEPs, and work with teachers and parents. We offer full benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and caseload support.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required).
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist (required).
• State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain) (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills (required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
• Complete initial evaluations, report writing, and data entry within timelines.
• Establish eligibility and discuss programming with ARD committee members.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech impairments.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and AAC technology.
• Monitor student progress in coordination with general education staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
