Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is assembling a team to support Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Eight Registered Behavior Technicians will work in twelve elementary schools during the school day, under BCBA supervision. Positions begin on contract award and run through September 30, 2027.

Compensation is $26.00 to $32.00 per hour with BACB supervision provided at no cost. Employee with benefits includes health coverage, PTO and a 401(k). On-site work, no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB.
• Experience working with children with significant behavioral needs.
• Compliance with BACB supervision requirements.
• Ability to clear Maryland background checks for work with students.
• Resume and credentials to be submitted to the district with its proposal.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, school-based implementation support for behavior intervention plans and student intervention strategies.
• Model behavioral strategies for school staff within real classroom and school routines.
• Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the BCBA and the school team.
• Support student skill building in self-regulation, communication, transitions, social interaction and replacement behaviors.
• Implement individualized strategies across school settings, including classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, recess, arrival and dismissal.
• Implement proactive supports that reduce crisis responses and disruption to instruction.
• Work within your training, certification and authorized scope of practice, under the supervision of an assigned BCBA.
