Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications seeks eight Registered Behavior Technicians to support Anne Arundel County Public Schools in twelve elementary schools during the school day. You will implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision, modeling strategies for classroom staff and collecting data to inform student progress.

Requirements include active RBT certification, experience with children with significant behavioral needs, and clearance of required background checks.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB.
• Experience working with children with significant behavioral needs.
• Ability to clear the background checks required by Maryland law and Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, school-based implementation support for behavior intervention plans and student intervention strategies.
• Model behavioral strategies for school staff within real classroom and school routines.
• Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the BCBA and the school team.
• Support student skill building in self-regulation, communication, transitions, social interaction and replacement behaviors.
• Implement individualized strategies across school settings, including classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, recess, arrival and dismissal.
• Implement proactive supports that reduce crisis responses and disruption to instruction.
