Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to support Anne Arundel County Public Schools in a school-based residency model. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and work under BCBA supervision in twelve elementary schools.

The role is on-site, with a school-year schedule, salaries $26.00–$32.00 per hour, and benefits including health coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k). Terms extend through September 30, 2027 with options.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Experience working with children with significant behavioral needs.
• Compliance with BACB supervision requirements.
• Ability to clear the background checks that Maryland law and Anne Arundel County Public Schools require for work with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, school-based implementation support for behavior intervention plans and student intervention strategies.
• Model behavioral strategies for school staff within real classroom and school routines.
• Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the BCBA and the school team.
• Support student skill building in self-regulation, communication, transitions, social interaction and replacement behaviors.
• Implement individualized strategies across school settings, including classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, recess, arrival and dismissal.
• Implement proactive supports that reduce crisis responses and disruption to instruction.
• Work within your training, certification and authorized scope of practice, under the supervision of an assigned BCBA.
