Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is partnering with Anne Arundel County Public Schools to staff eight Registered Behavior Technicians for its Behavioral and Mental Health Residency Model in twelve elementary schools. RBTs work on school days under supervision, carrying student plans through real routines in classrooms, hallways, and the cafeteria.

These W-2 positions include health coverage, PTO and a 401(k). Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $32.00 per hour, with BACB supervision at no cost.

Qualifications

Current RBT certification from the BACB.
Experience working with children with significant behavioral needs.
Compliance with BACB supervision requirements.
Ability to clear Maryland background checks and provide credentials.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, school-based implementation support for behavior intervention plans and student intervention strategies.
Model behavioral strategies for school staff within real classroom and school routines.
Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the BCBA and the school team.
Support student skill building in self-regulation, communication, transitions, social interaction and replacement behaviors.
Implement individualized strategies across school settings, including classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, recess, arrival and dismissal.
Implement proactive supports that reduce crisis responses and disruption to instruction.
Work within your training, certification and authorized scope of practice, under the supervision of an assigned BCBA.
