Gersh Autism Academy is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the supervision of a BCBA. You will deliver one-on-one instruction, behavioral support, and social skills training to help students achieve individualized goals.

This position requires an active RBT certification from the BACB, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and experience with ASD or in a special education

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with ASD or in a special education setting.
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data under BCBA guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Team-oriented and professional interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
• Patience, flexibility, and passion for students with special needs.
• Commitment to confidentiality and school policies.

Responsabilités

• Implement BIPs and IEPs as developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one or small group support.
• Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress.
• Assist in teaching strategies to support development.
• Conduct behavior management to decrease challenging behaviors.
• Support daily living skills, including communication and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision sessions.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards.
