Job summary

Gersh Autism in West Hempstead, NY, seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to work with students with ASD under BCBA supervision. You will provide one-on-one instruction, behavioral support, and social skills training to help students achieve individualized goals.

Requirements include an active RBT certification, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student growth within a year-round school program.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification (active) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with ASD or in a special education setting is desirable.
• Ability to implement BIPs/IEPs and collect data per BCBA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs and IEPs as directed by the BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support in classrooms and school settings.
• Record and maintain accurate data on student behaviors and progress.
