Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking an Outpatient Clinician to join its VHS team in Western Massachusetts schools, delivering evidence-based outpatient therapy in clinic, school, and telehealth settings.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with families and providers while maintaining compliant documentation and strong engagement with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field.
• Licensure or active licensure pursued (LICSW/LMHC or equivalent preferred).
• Experience or strong interest in mental health and/or substance use.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner.
• Comfort with electronic health records and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based outpatient therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and determine levels of care.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with assessed needs.
• Coordinate care with internal teams, families, and external providers.
• Facilitate referrals and support access to care.
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation per regulatory standards.
• Maintain productivity and address barriers to service delivery.
• Provide services across clinic, community, and telehealth settings.
• Participate in supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.
