Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Massachusetts seeks an Outpatient Clinician to provide evidence-based therapy in clinic, community, and telehealth settings. You will conduct assessments, deliver individual/family/group therapy, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with teams, families, and partners.

The role requires a master’s degree in a license-eligible field and active licensure pursuit; LMHC/LICSW preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field.
• Licensed or actively pursuing licensure (LMHC/LICSW or equivalent preferred).
• Experience or strong interest in mental health and/or substance use care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based outpatient therapy across clinic, community, and telehealth settings.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and determine levels of care.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with needs and program standards.
• Coordinate care with internal teams, families, and external providers.
• Facilitate referrals and support access to services.
• Complete timely clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards.
• Maintain productivity and address barriers to service delivery.
• Participate in supervision, training, and professional development.

What You’ll Do

As a Clinician, you will deliver evidence-based outpatient therapy and support individuals in achieving meaningful clinical outcomes while maintaining strong engagement and access to care.

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with assessed needs and program standards
• Coordinate care with internal teams, families, and external providers
• Facilitate referrals to additional services and support access to care
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain productivity expectations and proactively address barriers to service delivery
• Provide services across multiple settings, including clinic, community, and telehealth
• Participate in supervision, training, and ongoing professional development

Who You Are

• Master’s Degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field required
• Licensed or actively working toward licensure (LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent preferred)
• Experience or strong interest in working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations in a culturally responsive and empathetic manner
• Comfortable with electronic health records and technology platforms
• Committed to ongoing learning, professional growth, and high-quality care

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000

• Differentials: Unlicensed only - $3,500/year once you obtain independent license (LMHC or LICSW)
• $5,000/year once their caseload is at 50% or more with clients/parents who speak a language other than English

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with expectation of 6 weekly hours between 5pm-8pm & Sat rotation 9am-1pm (as needed by rotation)
