Job summary

Bellflower Unified School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 9-month, 8-hour per day position to empower students with disabilities in their educational journey. You will assess needs, craft personalized intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervised occupational therapy experience
• Experience with children and adolescents with disabilities in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Sensory integration techniques desirable

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments of students' fine motor, perceptual, and functional needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor OT intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct OT services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with IEP teams to establish measurable goals and objectives
• Train teachers and staff on therapeutic activities and adaptations
• Maintain documentation including assessment reports and progress notes
