CONCORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS seeks a School-based Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services supporting students' access to education. The role collaborates with educators, families, and outside agencies to evaluate needs, implement IEP goals, and deliver evidence-based supports in multiple settings within the school system.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing intervention plans, adapting materials, and documenting progress while maintaining compliance with IDEA,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Indiana license as an Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT registration preferred.
• Experience with children/adolescents in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, are preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ fine and gross motor, sensory, self-care, and functional needs per IDEA, Article 7, and Section 504.
• Develop and implement IEP goals, service plans, and accommodations tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in classrooms, therapy rooms, and community settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to integrate therapy recommendations into educational programs.
• Design and adapt instructional materials and environments to support student participation and access.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and report to IEP teams.
