Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services that support student participation and success in the educational setting. The role focuses on collaboration with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement effective plans for learning and independence.

Ideal candidates are student-centered, collaborative, and passionate about helping children develop essential skills for academic growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ACOTE accredited university.
• Active state licensure and/or certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children students.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Writes evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans.
• Communicates and coordinates therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
