Job summary

Bond Health Staffing is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide school-based evaluation and therapy services to students, collaborating with families, teachers, and an interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement IFSPs and IEPs, addressing fine and gross motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional skills, with strong documentation and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Occupational Therapist License required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be willing to obtain, or already possess, NYS fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with IFSPs and IEPs.
• Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, evaluations, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and parent consultations.
• Recommend referrals and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
• Assist with evaluations, intake, and ongoing student support.
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
• Supervise OT students or Occupational Therapy Assistants when applicable.
