Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Bel Air, MD, is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional development within educational settings, collaborating with districts across Maryland.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, participating in IEP and school team meetings, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Maryland OT licensure or eligibility.
• OT degree: Master's or Doctorate from an accredited program.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based OT is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based OT interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and independence.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school-based team to support participation in class and activities.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records, sessions notes, progress reports, and billing documentation.
