Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students in a contract role within a dynamic school environment. You will conduct assessments, collaborate with teachers and families, and help students participate more fully in academics and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Dakota (or eligibility to obtain).
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to adapt to evolving student needs.
• Passion for fostering growth and independence in children with diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within classroom settings.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that help students improve academic participation, motor skills, self-care, and overall independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with all school and state requirements.
• Partner with families to provide guidance, share progress, and recommend strategies that generalize skills beyond the classroom.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, professional development, and team initiatives.
