Job summary

Soliant is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to support a diverse group of students in a school-based setting. This part-time, onsite role serves a caseload of 20 students for the 2026-2027 school year, August 13, 2026 through May 20, 2027, at 16 hours per week across one and a half days.

The role involves collaboration with educators and families, development of individualized therapy plans, and participation in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Active and valid OT license required.
• Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with students of varying abilities.
• Proven ability to manage a small caseload.
• Aptitude for building positive relationships with school staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Assess students’ strengths and needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource regarding occupational therapy.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, standards, and ethics of school-based therapy practice.
