Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Natchitoches School Based Clinic to provide primary care to adolescents and children under the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act, under supervision of the School Based Health Centers Director.

You will collaborate with the Medical Director and health team, prescribe medications, and maintain comprehensive patient records while contributing to policy and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Current licensure through the LA State Board of Nursing.
• Valid DEA license or eligibility.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to clinic patients within the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Prescribe medications and supportive therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and health team for patient care and referrals.
• Maintain accurate patient health records in compliance with governing standards.
