Job summary

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) at Tioga Junior High School to provide primary care under supervision. The role covers adolescent and pediatric care, within the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.

Work entails collaboration with the Medical Director, maintaining accurate records, and referring patients when needed. The APC will deliver care, educate patients and families, and participate in policy development and quality

Qualifications

• Current licensure through the LA State Board of Nursing or LA Medical Board as appropriate.
• DEA license or ability to obtain before employment.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to adolescents and children per scope of practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and health team for patient care and referrals.
• Maintain patient health records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and medications.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within credentialed scope.
• Participate in developing and reviewing health center policies.
