• BLS obtained by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with health care providers and operate within the boundaries of the advanced practice category
• Practice within the advanced specialty and role appropriate to training and credentialing
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in clinic, including adolescents and children
• Prescribe medications and supportive therapies and refer when needed
• Educate patients and families about preventive care and medical treatments
• Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records in accordance with governing standards
