Job summary

Family Care Health Centers seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to students in school-based settings. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the health team to deliver preventive, acute, and chronic disease management for school-age children and adolescents.

The role requires Missouri NP licensure, board certification (PNP/FNP), and DEA eligibility, with experience in school-based health and community collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MSN or DNP with NP specialization and be eligible for Missouri NP licensure.
• Board certification as PNP or FNP is required at the time of application.
• BLS/CPR certification is current and verifiable.
• Ability to obtain DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances where applicable.
• Experience working with school-age children and adolescents in health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare in collaboration with physicians and the health team.
• Identify needs and coordinate referrals to specialists, Center staff, or community resources.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and screening tests as appropriate.
• Work in a school-based setting to deliver preventive and acute care to students.
• Develop and maintain policies, records, and reports; ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
• Collaborate with school staff, behavioral health professionals, and families to support health equity.
