Job summary

The SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) is seeking a School Based Mental Health Professional I to provide embedded mental health services in Lexington/Richland School District 5. You will deliver assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Under supervision, you will complete documentation, pursue professional development, and ensure compliance with CARF standards and BHDD-OMH policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling or related field.
• Licensure in SC or eligibility with up to six months to obtain it.
• Bilingual abilities a plus (English/Spanish or other).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, individual, family and group therapy.
• Deliver crisis intervention and counseling within school-based program.
• Complete required documentation and adhere to BHDD-OMH standards.
• Participate in supervision, trainings and QA processes.
