The SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) invites applications for a Mental Health Professional I embedded in Lexington 1 Schools at New Providence Elementary and Lakeside Middle School in Lexington, SC.

In this school-based role, you will deliver clinical services, conduct assessments, crisis interventions, and collaborate with school staff to support student wellness and family engagement, while maintaining documentation per QA/OMH standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in SC within six months of employment.
• Ability to lift 5 lbs and operate a state vehicle.
• Direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical assessments, individual, family & group treatment and crisis intervention.
• Participate in supervision, treatment team meetings, and pursue professional development.
• Complete documentation per QA/OMH standards and ensure timely prior authorizations.
• Collaborate with schools and community partners to support student well‑being.
